Hi Yall -
Finally - our first update from Texas! It has been a great week. The weather has been fantastic (until today - rainy, rainy and much colder!)
We are beginning to feel settled - certainly feel very welcomed! Our new neighbors have invited us in so wonderfully. We've had brownies, cookies, spaghetti dinner, doctor office referrals (quick care too - which we needed our 2nd morning here! - more on that later) and offers of all kinds of help. So we know this is the home that God wanted us in.
A quick recap of our week: Any day that is not listed has been spent unpacking & unpacking and unpacking!!!
Friday 3/12 - All of our stuff arrived in one big semi!
Saturday 3/13 - first trip to Metro Quick Care! - both girls had been dealing with high fevers and Emma's symptoms had turned to achy legs (to the point that she could not walk). Both recovered by early in the week.
Sunday 3/14 - attended Bent Tree Fellowship church - feels a whole lot like Eastview!
Thursday 3/18 - Dallas Aquarium fun day! - much needed after lots and lots of unpacking!

Sunday 3/20 - 20 weeks pregnant tomorrow - seems impossible to be 1/2 way through, but my clothes are certainly confirming this fact! Baby is great. 2nd try at boy or girl question in a couple weeks.

We have been so blessed by all the phone calls, emails, and notes from all of you. We miss you and are so thankful that technology will keep us in touch.
So good to hear how you guys are doing! Glad you're liking your neighbors and are getting settled! Can't wait to hear the baby news:)
